Round Grove Church

History

The Round Grove Baptist Church was organized at the close of the Civil War in September 1865 with 15 charter members. Meetings were held the first four years in a log school house near the present location of the church. In 1869, a new building was erected on land which is now a part of the cemetery.

Steve & Faith Leach

Steve & Faith Leach both grew up in Southwest MO. They both became Christians at an early age. They have been married for 24 years and have 4 children. Seth, Nathan, Grace and Jacob, as well as daughter-in-laws Bethany and Kristen. They have been living in Haiti in the town of Bombardopolis since 1996.

Bulletin Announcements

Bridal Shower

Round Grove will host a Wedding Shower for Ellie Weather and Ben Brubaker on Sunday May 20^th immediately after church.  A light lunch will be served.  Ellie and Ben are registered at Walmart and Bed, Bath & Beyond.

Donations needed: 

Do you have any good new or used athletic shoes, walking shoes or hiking boots or good new or used clean
socks tht you no longer need?  The Veterans Homeless Shelter in Springfield has a great need for these items.  The veterans who
receive help from this shelter walk everywhere they go, so they really need good shoes and socks.  If you can help, please bring shoes or socks and leave them in the box in the library.  These need to be adult size for men or women.  We will see that they get to the shelter.  If you have any questions about this project, please see Lori Moots.

Wedding Shower: 

Round Grove will host a Wedding Shower for Aaron Richardson and Heather Summers on Sunday June 3rd immediately following church.  There will be a light lunch served before the shower.  Aaron and Heather are registered at Kohl's, Target and Wal-Mart.

Disciple Now

Disciple Now is a retreat weekend that is held the first weekend in November at the church.  Don't miss the intense discipleship teaching, guest speakers, live bands, food and games.
